HOW TO ORDER

I now have a Paypal shopping cart to make it easier for you to purchase books from Buried Treasure. You can use your credit card with Paypal to buy your books with no waiting!

If you prefer to pay by check or money order, I will ship your books as soon as I receive payment: just copy the books you want to order, with their descriptions, into an email to carmon(at)softanswer(dot)com and I will get back to you as soon as possible with a confirmation of your order and the cost with shipping. I usually ship 'media rate' which is the least expensive for you; it can take 1-2 weeks to arrive, although it is sometimes sooner. If you prefer first class, let me know. Shipping is calculated by weight. I also recommend insuring your books when you order more than $20 as I will not be responsible for lost orders. If you want insurance, let me know, and I will add in the cost ($1.35 up to $50 value, $2.30 up to $100). I will hold your order for 10 days after I hear from you, until I receive payment. Shipping prices are given for continental U.S. only. All others must inquire.

BOOK GRADING

I am a very picky book buyer. The books I sell are almost always in excellent shape. If you have a problem with your order, you may return your books for a full refund. For your benefit, I have tried to give as much detail as possible about the condition of the books I am selling. 'New' obviously means new. 'Exc' means almost new condtion, although it may have an inscription. 'VG' means little wear, perhaps some markings or smudges but cover and pages are solid. 'Good' means that the book has been loved, it may have wear, but that it has a lot of life left in it; I will be sure to describe any major imperfections. 'Fair'means that the condition is rough but the book is a good reading copy. 'Ex-lib.' means that the book is a library discard, but this is not a bad thing. There will be library markings on the book and sometimes card pockets, but these books are often still in great shape, and many come in protective mylar-covered dust jackets, ('dj'). I grade the book first, then the dust jacket ('good/very good'). 'Hb' means hardback and 'pb' means paperback. Sets will not be described in as much detail. Is that clear as mud? Note: As books sell, I will mark them sold, though the first email I get purchasing a book takes precedence. Occasionally, I will need to refund money for books which have sold but have not yet been marked.
